Bandages will be applied at the conclusion of the procedure, and you will be seen the next day. Besides a few weeks of reduced activity, recovery from a face lift does not take long. Swelling and bruising should be expected immediately after surgery but will improve quickly. Exposure to sunlight and intense physical activity should be eliminated during the first part of the healing process. Complete recovery can require a month or more; the length of the recovery period depends on the overall health of the patient and his or her commitment to the post-surgery routine.
